Kempty Falls

The waterfalls, around 15kms from Mussoorie, derive their name from Camp Tea- as this was a spot for English tea parties. Watch the frothy streams of water cascading down from over 4500 ft or take a dip in the pool below for some fun in the water.

Mussoorie Lake

This artificial lake on Mussoorie-Dehradun road is a perfect spot for picnicking, boating, and other fun activities.

Municipal Garden

Earlier known as Company Garden, this idyllic retreat is adorned with green lawns, fountains, mini artificial lake, waterfalls, and a children’s park. A wax museum is the latest addition to this beautiful park.

Laal Tibba

Literally translating to Red Hill in the local speak, Lal Tibba marks the highest point in Mussoorie. The spot promises you spectacular Himalayan views and gorgeous sunrise & sunsets. 

Happy Valley

Blooming orchids, beautiful Buddhist temples, and happy Tibetan faces greet you at this charming Tibetan settlement. Be sure to buy some pretty souvenirs from the little shops in the valley.

Gun Hill

A cable car ride takes you to Gun Hill, the second-highest point in Mussoorie. The hill got its name from a cannon that was set up here during the colonial era. Travel up for majestic views of the mountains and the Doon Valley.

Best time to Visit

A blooming garden in summers and a white blanket of snow in winters, Mussoorie is a place for all seasons. However, avoid visiting here during monsoons in July and August for fear of landslides.
