Naini Lake and Temple

Mall Road

Mall Road, the pulsating heart of Nainital, runs along the beautiful Naini Lake, promising you panoramic views and the hustle-bustle of a small town. Chew on a delicious corn-on-cob and buy some cotton candy as you take an evening stroll on Mall Road.

Snow View Point

The cable car ride to Snow View Point is absolutely thrilling. It is amazing to see the lakes and the town sprawled before you. On a clear day Snow View offers you fabulous views of Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Nanda Kot peaks, wrapped in blankets of snow.

Tiffin Top

A short 4kms trek takes you to Tiffin Top, a vantage point for gorgeous valley and mountain views. You may also take a horse-ride to Tiffin top to add to the fun.

Bhimtal Lake

Located around 20kms from the city, the pristine waters of Bhimtal reflect shades of green from the surrounding hills. A popular spot for boating & Kayaking, Bhimtal is quite popular with tourists to Nainital.

Sattal Lake

Sattal, meaning Seven Lakes, is a bunch of seven interconnected lakes, located near Bhimtal. Away from the crowds of Nainital, Sattal is a picture of beauty and tranquility. Go for a boat ride, try zip lining across the lake, or watch the many birds that throng its emerald waters- it is fun all the way!

Naukuchiyatal Lake

Naukuchiya Tal literally translates to a lake with nine corners. However, these corners evade you and you are believed to be in great luck if you can see all of them at the same time. Go, try your luck!!

Best Time to Visit

Nainital is pleasant to visit all round the year but the tourists head to this hill retreat mostly in summers from March to June to beat the heat. Visit here in December to February for some fun in the snow.
